Biography
Heidi Kuhrt, lives and works on Bowen Island, British Columbia. She has a home on Killarny Lake which she shares with her husband David, their young son Ryan and Bed and Breakfasts guests from Vancouver and all over the world.
Heidi primarily works in oils. Most of her images are drawn from the natural environment around her on Bowen Island and the rest of the coast.
Life Sciences and Physical Geography is what her Science Degree from the University of British Columbia. She enjoys exploring the woods and coast of the island and collects berries, mushrooms and
shell fish as food sources. She also collects ideas for her art work on these journeys.
